The ONLINE Los Angeles County database (seen below) contains a massive amount of information for 5.4 Million registered voters in addition to their voting history (voted by mail, at poll the poll, or did not vote) for the past three (3) elections. The raw December 2019 data was provided by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office and imported by Teknowlage. LLC. The purpose of this program and information contained herein is to enable candidates to effectively craft their targeted digital advertising marketing campaigns.
When used effectively, this information can precisely target your digital ads (banner ads) campaign directly to a voters residence, on any browser oriented device, irrespective of where they go on the Internet. Targeted digital advertising is the fastest growing campaign tool for a reason – it works. Displayed in the table below is a subset of the data fields that will permit you to effectively use your advertsing dollars directly to reach the voting public (most likely voters). In other words, why promote your campaign to constituents that have a strong likelihood of not voting in the upcoming election.
It is recommended that any order take into account frequency. Meaning, the more times a voter sees your banner ad, the more likely they will remember your name when casting their ballot. Based on published research, the recommended frequency is ten (10) times. For example, the cost to transmit a single banner is $0.02/impression; With a frequency of ten (10), the effective cost is $0.20.
Each table row contains information about an actual registered voter dataset, less the individuals name and resident address (See Final Step for more information).
Any number of filtering combinations are possible. If you leave a filter field empty, ALL records are selected. Click on "Show/Hide Valid Search Parameters" for detailed information. You can copy any parameter and paste it into the proper filter field.
Any title can be clicked to sort the data in either ascending ro descending order.
Enter information into the "Search" field will pull ALL matching records.
EXAMPLE - Reaching Vote By Mail Constituents: Let's say that you desired to craft campaign to reach (either male of female) likely vote-by-mail constituents in Norwalk. In the city filter field enter Norwalk and in the 2018G field enter the letter M After loading of the filtered data has completed, scroll to the bottom left corner of the data table; it will show "(filtered from 9,710 total entries)." Meaning there are 9,710 constituents who voted by mail in the 2018 General election. To export (save) that data, select "Show 10000 Rows" (top left button). After loading (which may take several seconds), you can click on CSV, Excel, or PDF to download the file and save it to your laptop; make sure you name it accordingly, e.g. Norwalk VBM Records.
Now that you have created one or more exported files, you need to send them to Teknowlage for final preparation and processing submission. In this step, Teknowlage will read your exported files and match them against the voter records. This action will generate a CSV spreadsheet that contains the voter name and their residence address. Once completed, it will be submitted along with your banner ads for processing. Email your exported files to: target@teknowlage.com
IMPORTANT NOTE:Technically speaking, the large database mandates that we use server-side processing. As such, your filtered data MUST be visible on the screen to be properly exported. To show all of your filtered records, click on the "Show Records" button directly to the left of the CSV, Excel, PDF buttons and select a value greater than your displayed data. Once that action is completed and the filtered data appears on the screen, export will operate properly.
IMPORTANT NOTE 2: The maximum number of filtered records that can be exported at any one time is 50,000. Consequently, depending on the size of your targeted advertising campaign you may need to export multiple files. For example, if you intend to reach ALL voters in Los Angeles, we recommend filtering and exporting by zip code.
The software program herein was developed by and is the property of Teknowlage, LLC. It is provided as is to campaigns.
